…or something along those lines, anyway. I hope you all enjoyed August as much as our committee members, who were noticeably MIA and shirking their club responsibilities. We were hoping to be able to email you from the new club premises (as many members will know, our website is being built from scratch for a bigger, better, and more seamless member experience), but good things take time, and we are aiming to be able to introduce you all to the new club and its features in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, I just wanted to check in with you all and to assure you we will be back to our regularly scheduled updates with plenty of cosy, seasonal Autumn and Winter content and merchandise over the coming months. Until then, here are a few small updates from us at the club.
THE ULTIMATE GIFT GUIDE FOR SPOILED DOGS
Our latest guide is now live for those who find themselves the owners/godparents/step-parents of dogs with expensive taste. Simply click the image above to be taken straight to the guide – it is only 3 months until Christmas, after all.
THE SOCIETY POO BAGS SPOTTED IN CHELSEA
We are thrilled to announce that London members can now pick up our poo bags in store at Love My Human on the King’s Road! Otherwise, you can still order them directly from our shop where we are offering an automatic discount for orders of 6 boxes or more. Members will also be able to order directly from Amazon in the near future.
THE OFF PISTE CANINE KNIT
We have loved seeing our members’ dogs modelling their Canine Sporting Knits (please feel free to email your photos to hello@therhubarbsociety.com or tag us on Instagram). Due to popular demand, we are happy to announce that for the upcoming season we will also be releasing the ‘Off Piste Canine Knit’, which comes in navy and cream, embroidered with a skiing motif on the chest. We will also be introducing an XS size. In the meantime, you can still purchase our current knit to keep your pup cosy this Autumn.
CALLING ALL WRITERS
Our members span from Sweden to Singapore, and as part of the new club, we want to make the most of your knowledge and expertise for all members to benefit from! Therefore, this is the club’s official call for all writers (or aspiring writers) interested in writing a guide to sit on the website (with full credit, of course). Maybe you know the best secret spots in Lisbon? Perhaps you are an expert in make-up for darker skin? What about an aesthetician in your city who does undetectable work?
If this sounds of interest to you and assuming you have spare time between your philanthropic endeavours/running your swimwear business/networking with the same people you see at every social event, please email hello@therhubarbsociety.com with the topic you’d like to write a guide on and an example of your previous work (this is in no way a necessity).
Members are also reminded that the membership committee are still accepting applications.If you are looking to apply for Social or Private membership, you are encouraged to do so before all committee members realise they have better things to be doing.
